Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how American Groovo Technologies LLC ("American Groovo," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our mobile application PACam (the "App"). We built PACam to keep your data yours, and this policy reflects that.

Information we collect

None. PACam does not require an account, and we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information. We operate no servers that receive your data — the App runs entirely on your device.

Your photos

PACam captures, develops, and stores your photos entirely on your iPhone. Your images are saved locally within the App, and are added to your device's Photos library only when you choose to save or share them using iOS. Your photos are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

Camera and photo library access

PACam requests access to your camera and photo library solely so you can take photos and save them on your own device. This access is used only on-device and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings → PACam.

Microphone and speech recognition

PACam has a hidden film stock you can unlock by shaking your phone on the film selection screen and saying a word out loud. The microphone is active only during that short listening window, and only after you shake the phone — never in the background and never while you are shooting. Speech recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's Speech framework. We do not record, store, or transmit any audio, and nothing you say is sent to us or to anyone else. You can decline or revoke microphone and speech recognition access at any time in iOS Settings → PACam; every other part of the App works exactly the same without it.

Subscriptions and purchases

PACam may offer optional subscriptions and purchases sold through the Apple App Store. All payments are processed by Apple — we never see or store your payment details. To deliver features you've purchased, the App uses Apple's on-device StoreKit framework to confirm your subscription status; this does not identify you to us. Apple's handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Analytics, tracking, and advertising

None. PACam contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we display no ads.

Notifications

If you choose to enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. Enabling them does not send any information to us.

Children's privacy

PACam is not directed to children under 13. Because we collect no data of any kind, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Data security

Because your content stays on your device, it is protected by your device's own security features, such as your passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and built-in encryption.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and any material changes will be reflected on this page.
